Final project for Modeling Earth course. Proof of concept model for the impact of an ice lens on permafrost slumps, with and without a slope. We assume the ice lens fully melts, take a certain density for frozen soil, then model the vertical movement of water through soil. Once the fluid pressure overcomes overbuden pressure, slump occurs.
