Report Summary: The following overview provides insights into the pizza sales report and dashboard created using SQL Server, Power BI, and MS Excel. The objective of this project was to analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to pizza sales, allowing the business to gain valuable insights into its performance. The report addresses specific KPIs, such as total revenue, average order value, total pizzas sold, total orders, and average pizzas per order. Additionally, the dashboard presents a variety of charts and visualizations to help understand trends and patterns within the pizza sales data.

Software Used:

Problem Statement and KPIs Requirement: The project aimed to analyze pizza sales data and provide insights into key performance indicators. The problem statement revolved around calculating and visualizing various metrics to gauge business performance.

The specific KPIs included:

  1. Total Revenue
  2. Average Order Value
  3. Total Pizzas Sold
  4. Total Orders
  5. Average Pizzas Per Order

Charts Requirement: The report and dashboard include various charts to visualize different aspects of the pizza sales data:

  1. Daily Trend for Total Orders: A stack column chart illustrating the daily trend in the total number of orders, helping to identify patterns and spikes in order volume.
  2. Monthly Trend for Total Orders: In this we are using an Area chart to display the monthly variation in total orders, aiding in understanding larger sales trends over time.
  3. Percentage of Sales by Pizza Category: A donut chart showcasing the distribution of sales revenue among different pizza categories, revealing which categories are more popular among customers.
  4. Percentage of Sales by Pizza Size: Another donut chart that highlights the sales distribution across various pizza sizes, offering insights into customer preferences.
  5. Total Pizzas Sold by Pizza Category: A funnel chart depicting the total number of pizzas sold for each pizza category, helping to understand the volume of sales for different types of pizzas.
  6. Top 5 Best Sellers: Three bar charts revealing the top 5 best-selling pizzas based on revenue, total quantity, and total orders, respectively.
  7. Bottom 5 Best Sellers: Similar to the top sellers, these charts showcase the bottom 5 performers based on revenue, total quantity, and total orders.
