This repository contains the code for automatic face recognition based attendance system used to outlook demerits of manual systems like proxies. At first data of students (their images and name) is added in a dataset then model is trained using LBPH Face Recognizer then If the student's face is matched with one of the faces in the dataset, his/her attendance is marked and data is stored in a excel sheet. This project is implemented using - Python, OpenCV, Haarcascade classification, LBPH Face Recognizer, Pygame (GUI)
