An AVL tree data structure implemented in C# with basic functionality. The AVL_TREE class inherits from a general binary search tree class and extends it. Furthermore, the performance of the AVL tree has been compared to the performance of a general BST as well as to the C# built in SortedDictionary through a range of experiments. The results, including graphs, have been presented and analyzed in a short document.
