The Passport.js Authentication Backend is a robust solution for implementing secure user authentication in web applications. This project incorporates various authentication strategies, including local authentication, Google, Facebook, and Twitter strategies, to offer flexibility for users and developers.
The primary objectives of this project are to provide a reliable and extensible authentication backend that supports different authentication providers, ensuring a seamless and secure login experience for users.
Local Authentication: Allows users to sign in using a traditional username and password combination. Google Authentication: Enables users to log in using their Google accounts. Facebook Authentication: Allows users to authenticate using their Facebook credentials. Twitter Authentication: Supports authentication via Twitter accounts.
- Clone the Repository:

- Install Dependencies:
npm install
- Create a .env file in the project root directory and add the following configurations:

- Run the Application:
npm start
Requirements:
Node.js and npm installed on your machine. MongoDB database for storing user information.
