npm install use-timeout

 

usage

import useTimeout from 'use-timeout'

function SimpleExample() {
  const [message, setMessage] = useState('changing in 2 seconds...')

  useTimeout(() => setMessage('changed!'), 2000)

  return <div>{message}</div>
}
