It was done to understand the blockchain structure and understand what this technology is all about. Go-block is a play on the word "goblok" which means silly in Indonesian. It is called go-block because it is my first blockchain implementation and thus probably a dumb implementation. But it is easy to use, easy to code and easy to understand so for basic small projects it should be fine. Soon I will be adding smart contracts and other functions overtime to get a better understanding on the details of the technology
