Stack Overflow (Character upside down) with Phaser weapons

Hello I know 1.7.10 is not supported as I've seen in many other threads, but there's gotta be some fix for this, every time a phaser weapon is in my inventory my character goes upside down, and i start getting a stack overflow error. The only thing I can think of doing if you can't help is just removing the crafting recipes altogether for the phasers, since this will be in a modpack.

Could it be an Optifine setting? Like I said I know 1.7.10 is not supported but is there anything at all you can do?

I figured out which mod was causing it, Backtools has a problem for some reason, removing it fixed everything, for anyone who also has this issue.
