Repository for the website of an important upcoming venture of @CodeFlowOrg.

How to contribute

1. Fork this repository.

2. Clone your forked copy of the project.

git clone --depth 1 https://github.com/<your_name>/CodeFlowOrg/OpenForce-2022.git

3. Navigate to the project directory 📁 .

cd CodeFlowOrg/OpenForce-2022

4. Open command prompt in the cloned folder and install dependencies.

npm install

5. Run react app (You do not need to run backend as it is already hosted).

npm run dev

6. Add a reference(remote) to the original repository.

git remote add upstream https://github.com/CodeFlowOrg/OpenForce-2022

7. Check the remotes for this repository.

git remote -v

8. Always Sync your local repository before making any changes or commiting.

git fetch upstream

git merge upstream/main

Alternatively Sync your forked repository on Github.

In your forked repository, click on "Fetch upstream"

Click "Fetch and merge"

9. Create a new branch.

git checkout -b <your_branch_name>

10. Perform your desired changes to the code base.

11. Track your changes:heavy_check_mark: .

git add .

12. Commit your changes .

git commit -m "Relevant message"

13. Push the committed changes in your feature branch to your remote repo.

git push -u origin <your_branch_name>

14. To create a pull request, click on compare and pull requests. Please ensure you compare your feature branch to the desired branch of the repository you are supposed to make a PR to.

15. Add appropriate title and description to your pull request explaining your changes and efforts done.

16. Click on Create Pull Request.

17. Voila! You have made a PR to the Openforce website. Sit back patiently and relax while your PR is reviewed.
