Booster HL assembly notes

Booster HL uses the same mechanics as regular Booster.
However, it requires attention during assembly.
-
the Hybrid needs to be soldered manually. The leads must be touching the white line
-
The heat transfer block must be covered by Kapton tape from one side. The tape must be trimmed to not break the thermal interface on the upper/bottom side of the block
-
The block must be covered by heat transfer paste. I used a copper-based one. I apply the paste, place the block, slide it a bit, then remove it and fill paste in white spots.
-
The block must be secured using two M3x9 or M3x10 countersunk screws
-
The Hybrid leads must be bend. Make sure that first leads are bent by 90 degrees close to the PCB edge, than complete the cycle.
-
Fasten the SMA nuts. Important, do it before attaching the PCB to the channel enclosure
-
Insert and fasten all screws except for one that must be not installed, otherwise it would create short-circuit.
-
Get rid of the tantalum capacitor. It is colliding with a Hybrid enclosure.
-
Proceed as usual. No bias calibration is needed because we don't use bias adjustment. There is an option to enable this feature, which needs a resistor to be assembled and further tests.
