Mr. Radar is a port security evading, discovery device used to detect network switches connected to lone network ports. In addition, it has the ability to detect if Power over Ethernet (PoE) is present and whether the PoE being provide is Mode A or Mode B in nature. Mr. Radar has the following indicators that appear on the Trinket M0.
- Small Green LED: Mr. Radar is ON. LED is located to the left of the µUSB connector.
- Large Green LED: Mr. Radar has discovered a network device. LED is the Dotstar in the center.
- Large Orange LED: Mr. Radar has discovered a network device that can only support 10/100 Mbits/s. LED is the Dotstar in the center.
- Small Rapid Blinking Red LED: Mr. Radar has detected PoE in a Mode A configuration. LED is located to the right of the µUSB connector.
- Small Slowly Blinking Red LED: Mr. Radar has detected PoE in a Mode B configuration. LED is located to the right of the µUSB connector.
The hardware folder contains the KiCad project files for Mr. Radar. The MrRadar_firmware folder contains the .ino file for the Arduino IDE. These files will be used to program the Trinket M0 which controls Mr. Radar.
If you don't want to bother with KiCad and just want to make the board from scratch or want to use another microcontroller, the schematic below will help.

- When loading the code for the Trinket M0, ensure you have setup the Trinket according to the Adafruit tutorial. Use the Arduino IDE setup procedures.
- The battery pack goes on the bottom of the board. You'll need to solder everything on top first and then clip all the excess wire pieces before affixing the battery pack.
