Escher Tiles

I'd seen an Escher book and taken a snapshot of a page (see below) that had a tile project thinking that one day I would translate that to code.

This is that project.

Done over Thanksgiving break 2021, I decided to bootstrap with Next JS because, well, why not. I've not spun up one recently and felt the need to get exposure, once again.

Escher Original

Fun!

This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app.

Getting Started

First, run the development server:

npm run dev

Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.

You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.tsx. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.

API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.ts.

The pages/api directory is mapped to /api/*. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
