Add alias-support feature for your composer.
Install via composer.
$ composer global require slince/composer-alias
Add alias for composer update
;
$ composer alias up update
Now, you can execute the following command to update your dependencies.
$ composer up
$ composer alias req require
Equals:
$ composer req symfony/console
You can use this command to group packages. like this:
$ composer req-sf "require symfony/console symfony/event-dispatcher"
You can install "symfony/console", "symfony/event-dispatcher" with this command:
$ composer req-sf
$ composer alias -l
will output:
-------- --------------------------------------------------
Alias Command
-------- --------------------------------------------------
val validate
up update
req-sf require symfony/event-dispatcher symfony/console
req require
i install
-------- --------------------------------------------------
$ composer alias [alias name] --unset
