git fetch -> get info from the cloud git merge -> take the info from the cloud and apply it to your local repository git pull -> git fetch + git merge git push -> apply your local changes to the repository in the cloud git add -> stage a file to be included in a commit git commit -> log changes locally (can include git add) git status -> show what's up git diff -> show changes
