In this project we will research the correlation between the activity around cryptocurrency on social media and the actual stock price of said cryptocurrency. In this case we will take the examples of social media channel Twitter and the cryptocurrency Bitcoin based on the data provided by Kaggle.
To achieve this we ask ourselves the following question:
Is there a correlation between the activity and public sentiment on Twitter regarding Bitcoin and the stock price of Bitcoin?
