Winds of Change: Impact of COVID-19 on Vaccine-related Opinions of Twitter users

This repository contains the data and classifier used in the paper titled "Winds of Change: Impact of COVID-19 on Vaccine-related Opinions of Twitter users" accepted at the International Conference on Web and Social Media (AAAI ICWSM) 2022.

A preprint of the paper is available on Arxiv, and in this repository too.

There are two directories as listed below. Details of each are given in the README files in the corresponding directories.

  • /dataset -- consisting of a collection of tweets with crowdsourced labels of their stance towards COVID-19 vaccines.
  • /classifier -- consisting of codes to run our classifier to predict the vaccine-stances of a set of tweets (or any text)
