Admin Party mode does not work
tekbird opened this issue · 5 comments
CouchClient alwasy throws error unauthorized. I have ensured that local.ini has no admins defined. But CouchClient.DeleteDatabase() errors with message unauthorized. can you help!
As a workaround you could take it out of admin party. I'll have a look
sometime this week and see if I can resolve it.

Hi,
Just started to look on loveSeat and couchDB. Please note am a complete noob.
Anyway, working directly with the nuget package I had a similar behavior.
I downloaded the source code and from here and it does work without any issues, so i would say that its the nuget package that has the issue.
Here are my step by step issues:
1 - Was not able to connect via nuget package test project. Downloaded the source code project and worked fine.
2 - Was not able to connect from remote address, only with localhost. couchDB bad config. Changed configuration on couch to listen on all interfaces and opened windows firewall port.
3 - All was ok from the source code project but issue still remains with test project with nuget package. Uninstalled nuget package and added the library from source code project to test project. All working fine.
Unfortunately someone else published to nuget and I can't alter that. All
I can do is keep up the github repo. #2 is just couch config and
unrelated. You could've configured it with localhost out of the box.
Thanks for the heads up. Hope you like the project ultimately.

hi @soitgoes did you resolve this problem?
@pangguoming Problem has always been resolved on the source version. I
cannot publish to nuget however.
