How to run the project locally?

  1. Clone or download this repository to your local machine.

  2. cd into the cloned folder.

  3. Install virtual environment python package using command:

    pip install virtualenv
    
  4. Create a virtual environment using command:

    python3 -m venv [Enter Folder name]
    
  5. Activate virtual environment using command:

    source [virtual environment name]/bin/activate
    
  6. Install all the libraries mentioned in the requirements.txt file with the command:

     pip install -r requirements.txt
    
  7. Create a contacts.text file inside Data folder and paste the provided template inside and edit it accordingly:

  8. Get your API key from platform.openai.com/api-keys

  9. Create a Api.text file inside Data folder and paste the API key insde the file as follows:

  10. Downlaod and install MongoDB Compass from mongodb.com/products/tools/compass

  11. Save and Connect to URI: mongodb://localhost:27017

  12. Create a new database called NemoVA and a new collection called Nemo_DB

  13. Click on Import data and from DataBase Template folder, select the provided database template: DemoDB.json

  14. Add Admin, User name and password to the template feilds: MongoDb template

  15. Create a App Password for sending email from myaccount.google and add the Email ID using which the password was created and the password to the template feild provided:

  16. Fill up Receiver's Email ID and Contact name and add more using the provided template:

  17. Run the python file: Nemo_GUI (Run This).py

  18. Click on the Nemo icon and enjoy your Personal Assitant - NEMO
