TRRS connectors have duplicate pin name "ring"

Symbol: AUDIO_JACK_TRRSSMD_RA
Footprint: AUDIO_JACK_3.5MM_TRRS_SMD_RA

The problem is that both rings share the same name (both in the symbol and the footprint). They should have distinct names.

Otherwise you get this situation: note how the top pads in the board are incorrectly both GND, even though in the schematic only one is GND.

For comparison, Kicads built-in library uses "T", "R1", "R2" and "S" as names. If you would switch to that convention, the sparkfun symbols/footprints would be cross compatible to the kicad footprints/symbols.

Thank you for identifying this. It has now been fixed in the Connectors library, the footprint now uses RING1 and RING2:
