My hacked versions of chef rpm's to use bundler
defaults to /usr/local
setup.sh will copy our version to your home, and create a symlink from ~/rpm_build to this dir
my ~/.rpmmacros lays this out to build from my repos as so:
# %_topdir defines the top directory to be used for RPM building purposes
%_topdir %(echo $HOME)/builds
%_sourcedir %{_topdir}/src/
%_specdir %{_topdir}/spec/
%_tmppath %{_topdir}/tmp
%_builddir %{_topdir}/build
%_rpmdir %{_topdir}/pkg
%_srcrpmdir %{_topdir}/pkg
%_buildroot %{_topdir}/tmp/%{name}-%{version}-root
#%_rpmfilename %{name}-%{version}-%{release}.%{arch}.rpm
%packager %(echo ${USER}@)%(hostname)
%distribution .foo
%dist .foo
%bundler_install_to /usr/local/
