Algorithm based on ideas presented by Chris Green from Valve Software in the paper "Improved Alpha-Tested Magnification for Vector Textures and Special Effects,", presented in SIGGRAPH Course on Advanced Real-Time Rendering in 3D Graphics and Games, 2007.
