Webster's Unabridged English Dictionary
Webster's Unabridged English Dictionary, provided by the Gutenberg Project, in JSON format. It is similar to adambom/dictionary and matthewreagan/WebstersEnglishDictionary, with a few additions intended to make it useful for NLP tasks, including:
- The part-of-speech for each word
- The synonyms, when available
- Definitions for multiple-definition words organized in a list, rather than in a single string
This is how an entry in the JSON file looks like (without line breaks):

The JSON file can be used as-is . If you want to run the Java code, it will only require json-simple
