nerve-chat

This app is a multi-server capable chat (messaging) interface built on redis, using socket.io.

To Use

To clone and run this repository you'll need Git and Node.js (which comes with npm) installed on your computer.

Access to a redis instance is required. This app accesses the redis service on port 16379.

From your command line:

# Clone this repository
git clone https://github.com/st01k/nerve-chat
# Go into the repository
cd nerve-chat
# Install dependencies
npm install
# Run the app
node index.js
# Access the app in your browser
[ip address]:8080
