  • What is the project about? The project is about a simple chat application for us to use to learn Android.
  • How is it structured?
  • How to start contributing? First, you have to create a personal copy of the project for yourself, in order to do this, you have to fork the project on Github. Then, you have to clone the project on your computer. Once you have completed these two steps, you can start contributing to the project.
  • How to run it? An IDE is advisable, Android Studio is preferable. If you use Android Studio, you have to select "Open an existing Android Studio project" and then select the brew-chat repository in order to open the project. Once the project is open, you can run it by following this tutorial.
  • Which team conventions/workflows are used?
  • What tools are being used and where can be found? We use Github, Trello , Slack , Google Hangouts for pair programming, TestFairy for beta testing and Travis.
