CAPOW
(Comics: Accessible Publishing Online WebEngine)
This project is to create a responsive web comics engine that allows creator to think about the medium and utilise the latest CSS3/HTML5 techniques to create engaging powerful storytelling environments. Primarily focussing in the world of comics.
The project will contain example source code, and exercises. The project code will be broken up into discussions and point to an ongoing wiki for collaboroative discussion and exploration of how best to create this framework.
Goals
Short Term
Create an initial outline of markup syntax, explore basic modes of panel flows.
Mid Term
Deploy package and documentation, have multi modal story engines available, with working examples
Long Term
Build and test Content Management System that allows creation of and publication of content, with script, lettering and illustration tools.
