This is an Android Project that shows the way to implement and use different Services in Android Applications.
This Android project has sample imelementations of different types of Services available in Android System. It includes:
- Service - a sample on how to implement background task to keep running when the application is not running.
- Bound Service - Service that is attached with an Android component and get destroyed when the component gets destroyed.
- Intent Service - The service that destroys when the task is completed and runs in background thread.
It also includes how to use service to transfer messages in between two different components of Android. It also implements the way to run our services in different processes.
