This is an android mobile application that allows you to create and organize study groups easily. As of now, you would be able to create a study group by filling in your information regarding the study group such as Course title, Start/End time, Number of people as well as selecting a location. Once that is done, a marker of the location you have selected should appear on the Google maps.

Before running the app, please verify the following setups:

  1.   Go to Tools -> Android -> SDK manager

  1. Go to Build -> Clean Project and Rebuild Project.

Running the app:

  1. Locate a box at the top of the toolbar between a hammer icon and a play icon. Verify that it is under 'app'
  2. Click the play button to run the app. A 'Select Deployment Target' window should appear.
  3. To run the app using the emulator, please click 'Create New Virtual Device'. Select Nexus 5X and click on 'Next'. Select Nougat with API level 25 and install. Once it is installed, click 'Finish'.
  4. Click on the play button again and this time, the Nexus 5X emulator will show on the list of virtual devices. Click on the device and click 'Ok'.
  5. The project will build and the emulator will appear. It might take quite some time for the emulator to show based on your computer performance so please be patient.
  6. Once the emulator is booted, the app should run automatically.
  7. If a prompt appears stating to update the Google play store, proceed to update it.
  8. In the case where the app does not show, click on the play button again (now with a dot) and it will rebuild and relaunch the app again.
