Can't select options in the pause menu with a controller

Describe the bug

When using a controller, it is impossible to select options in the pause screen

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Start the game
  2. Press pause button
  3. There are two options: save and quit
  4. You cannot select either of them

Expected behavior

I should be able to select the options

Xbox mainly, but PC with a controller too

Need to redesign the pause menu as well. Sometimes it's hard to see the options because of the game in the background.
@joshua-manuel might be a good idea to add a background picture and organize the button layout.

Need tp redesign in the future but it is functional now.
