GitHub Deployment Script

This Python script allows you to easily deploy a local folder to a GitHub repository or delete an existing GitHub repository. It uses the PyGitHub library for GitHub interactions.

Usage

  1. Clone or download the repository to your local machine.

    git clone https://github.com/suryagowda/deployndelete.git
    
  2. Open a terminal and navigate to the folder containing the script.

  3. Install required package

    pip install PyGithub
  4. Edit Configuration:

    • Open the config.py file and replace GITHUB_USERNAME and GITHUB_PASSWORD(github personal access token) with your GitHub credentials.
  5. Run the Script:

    python deploy.py
    
  6. Follow the Instructions:

    • The script will guide you through the deployment process.

Prerequisites

Python installed on your machine.

Note

  • This script uses PyGitHub, and you can install it using the provided command.
  • Do not forget to replace the default values in config.py with your GitHub credentials.
