Welcome to the "Anybody Can STEM" repository! This project encompasses the development of a STEM from Home Web Portal, aimed at providing students with access to a diverse range of STEM activities from the comfort of their homes.
The "Anybody Can STEM" initiative was born during the COVID-19 pandemic, with the goal of offering students engaging STEM activities while learning remotely. This web portal provides a platform for students to explore, participate, and learn from a variety of STEM projects.
- User Roles: The portal offers distinct roles for users, including Admin, Teacher, LLF Innovation Coach, CGI Mentors, and Students.
- Registration: Teachers and students can register on the platform, with admin approval for teacher accounts. Students receive an OTP to complete their registration.
- Dashboard: A personalized dashboard for students to view, attend, and track their completed activities.
- Badge System: Students earn badges (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum) based on completed activities, displayed with a unique hierarchy.
- Teacher Dashboard: Teachers manage assigned activities, review student submissions, and provide feedback.
- Activity Management: Admin creates activities with various components, published weekly for students.
- Feedback and Contact: Students can provide feedback on activities, and a contact form is available for communication.
- Reports: Admin can generate various reports, including active students, badge achievements, activity statuses, and more.
- Star Projects: Outstanding student activities can be recognized as "Star Projects" and showcased on a dedicated page.
This section will guide you through the steps to set up the "Anybody Can STEM" web portal locally. Detailed installation instructions and technical requirements will be provided in the repository's codebase.
The usage guide will assist administrators, teachers, and students in understanding how to navigate the portal, manage activities, review submissions, and interact with the badge system.
