Suggestion is to have two hello worlds per language:
One is dead_simple and only:

• reads heartbeat messages and prints out each receipt of heartbeat

Second is more full featured and does the following

• Make it interactive (something from STDIN will query a setting value like the firmware version)
• Check for Pos LLH message and print to screen
• Change a setting and see result of a setting change (suggestion is solution rate)
