Bunch of tools for SFML 2.0 application development.
It's a header-only library written mostly in C++98 to keep maximum compatibility with most compilers (some extensions needs C++11 though).
Have a look at sftools' website for downloads, installation instruction, documentation and tutorials.
Here is a brief summary of the tools provided by sftools
.
This module provides a non intrusive tool to create singleton objects.
This module provides :
- a fully generic manager that can be subclassed to generate customs managers like :
- a font (
sf::Font
) manager; - an image (
sf::Image
) and texture (sf::Texture
) managers; - a sound buffer (
sf::SoundBuffer
) and music (sf::Music
) managers;
This class provides the basic mechanism of a chronometer. This class was previously called PausableClock
.
sftools
provides a set of class to render animation based on a sequence of frames. These classes are Animation
which is a sf::Drawable
, Frame
which holds the data used to render one frame, and FrameStream
that manages a sequence of frames.
sf::Shape
are great if you want to display circle and convex polygons. But what about arcs, ellipses, sines or astroid ? sftools
empowers SFML and provides Curve
to easily draw any parametric equation !
Note that Curve
requires C++11.
