new alias after updating alias on offer showing old on buy screen

after editing an offer to change the alias, "seller alias" does change in the "selling" view, however, putting the GUID in marketplace/buy and "lookup offer" results in showing the old Alias and does not appear to be updated. This happens with both Public and Private offers.
EX: dd7353d5fba01271 was created with alias "sebastien" and was updated to alias "sebastien1234".
