Applications of computer simulations, Spring 2015, University of Zielona Góra

Technicalities

  • Python 3
  • Use virtualenv for a smooth experience
  • You will need C and Fortran compilers. The one's from GCC should work without issues on Linux.

Generate states for all polymers with n links

$ python -m polymer_states.generate_states n

Preview the transition matrix for n-link polymers

$ python -m polymer_states.generate_matrix n h c

The meaning of parameters h and c is as in Stochastic lattice models for the dynamics of linear polymers by van Leeuwen and Drzewiński.

Save the transition matrix for n-link polymers as an image

$ python -m polymer_states.generate_matrix --out image.png n h c
