Flake provided by the template crashes with "value is set while a list was expected"

Basically the title, unfortunately when I ran
nix flake init -t github:tadfisher/android-nixpkgs
nix develop
it errors out with
error: value is a set while a list was expected
If I can provide something to help reproduce please let me know !
