You can reach out the community by the following ways:

Join our Discord channel to meet the Taichi developers and peer users/contributors, and chat about anything related to Taichi.

In the Taichi forum, you can raise questions about using Taichi, share learning experiences with Taichi and showcase.

Please follow the instruction and join wechat group for numerical simulation, Graphics, Taichi NeRF and etc.

Events

Taichi community has held multiple community events, covering technical sharing like meetup, TaichiCon and fun competitions like Hackathon, Voxel challenge. These are suitable for community members at different levels. For details, please see Events.

Contribute

Thank you for your interest in contributing to Taichi. Before getting started, please read the Contribution Guidlines and Code of Conduct. If you want to find some issue to work on, please check the "welcome contribution" label on issues. Join our Discord channel to discuss with the developers is also recommended before submitting a PR.

The Contribution Guidelines provide detailed instructions including:

  1. General guidelines and tips
  2. How to file an issue
  3. How to file a pull request

We welcome all kinds of contributions, including but not limited to:

  • Fixing a bug
  • Proposing and implementing new features
  • Improving or refactoring an existing document
  • Suggesting more friendly error messages
  • Adding new test cases and examples (demos)
  • Posting blog articles and tutorials
  • Enhancing compiler performance
  • Minor updates to documentation, codes, or annotations.
