Lightweight Labware V2 kinematic mounts interfere with Nevermore V6

I have recently built a V2.4 R2 using these kinematic bed mounts and have since attempted to install a Nevermore V6 filtration unit. However, the front mounts hang over the extrusions enough to prevent the Nevermore unit from sliding in between the parallel extrusions. Has anyone else had this issue? A simple fix appears to use small (2mm or so) shims between the extrusions and the kinematic mounts.
