fork the repot found at https://github.com/techstack-io/parasol-next-str

find a good place on your local computer and run the command
git clone https://github.com/techstack-io/parasol-next-str

cd
into parasol-next-str directory and runnpm install

create a new branch with command
git checkout -b my_branch_name

run the command
git remote add upstream https://github.com/techstack-io/parasol-next-str
-
open your text editor of choice ex:
code .
to bring up visual studio code -
run the command
npm run dev

make your changes
-
stop the development server with
control + c
-
git status
11 git add .

git commit -m "message describing the work performed"

git push -u origin my_branch_name
First, run the development server:
npm run dev
# or
yarn dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying pages/index.js
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
API routes can be accessed on http://localhost:3000/api/hello. This endpoint can be edited in pages/api/hello.js
.
The pages/api
directory is mapped to /api/*
. Files in this directory are treated as API routes instead of React pages.
