Telegram Bot

Sample Application to demonstrate how to get up and running with ngrok, express and Telegram.

Getting Started

  • Install Ngrok

  • Run ngrok and point to your preferred port ngrok http 5000

  • Copy the Forwarder URL

  • Get a Telegram Bot API key from BotFather

  • Clone this repo

  • Create a .env file based on the env_example.

    • TOKEN is the Telegram Bot from BotFather
    • SERVER_URL is the ngrok server running locally

  • Run yarn run dev to get started
