This repository contains a compilation of various command-line scripts written in [bash], These scripts are meant for educational and practice purposes to explore the command-line interface and build useful tools.
- Download the repository: Clone the repository to your local machine using Git:
git clone https://github.com/vaibhavx42/scripts.sh.git
Or, if you have already downloaded the repository as a ZIP file from GitHub, extract the ZIP archive to a folder on your computer.
- Navigate to the downloaded folder: Open your terminal (command prompt or PowerShell on Windows) and change the directory to the downloaded folder:`
cd command-line-scripts(here instead of command-line-scripts add your folder which you downloaded to)
- Make the script.sh files executable: Before you can run the scripts, you need to make them executable. Use the following command to add execute permissions:
chmod +x script.sh
- Run the scripts: Now that the scripts are executable, you can run them using the following command:
./script.sh
- Take a look at the Existing Issues or create your own Issues!
- Wait for the Issue to be assigned to you.
- Fork the repository
- Clone your forked copy of the project.
