Data files are fishing activity in the Mediterranean Sea from 2019. Fishing hours are binned on a 0.05 degree grid. Shapefiles are of closed fishing areas.
Calculate the total fishing hours, by gear type, inside both closure areas in 2019.
Provide a map or two showing the closure areas overlaid with fishing effort for trawlers and longliners.
