Universal Machines for Ambisonics or UMA are a series of Open Source Ambisonic Microphones. The UMA series is based on the designs of Umashankar Manthravadi. For now, you can go through the designs of the FIELD 4 which is a 4 channel first order Ambisonic Microphone.
