Hacktoberfest, in its 8th year, is a month-long celebration of open source software run by DigitalOcean. During the month of October, we invite you to join open-source software enthusiasts, beginners, and the developer community by contributing to open-source projects. Complete this year's challenge by contributing four pull requests of features and win free swag from Hacktoberfest. ACM’s workshop will provide the necessary tools to get you started! Issues have been created with coding problem descriptions. To contribute to this repository and score your first pull request that will count towards the Hacktoberfest competition, choose an issue and solve the coding problem! Once your solution has been reviewed by our team, we'll approve it!
Please note that we will be checking to ensure your solution is unique and your own. If your code goes against Hacktoberfest's Code of Conduct, you will be ineligible to participate in the competition indefinitely.
- Sign up for Hacktoberfest here.
- Choose an issue containing a programming problem you would like to solve.
- Solve it!
- Wait for ACM's team to review and approve your solution.
- Once it is approved, it will count towards your first Hacktoberfest pull request!
- Create three more pull requests to other open source projects to complete the challenge!
- Win a free T-Shirt from Hacktoberfest!
