Bringing the usual Windows editor shortcuts to spacemacs as an option.
In your .emacs.d folder, do the following:
git clone https://github.com/jumpifzero/spacemacs-windows-keybindings.git private/windows-keybindings
add `windows-keybindings` to your `~/.spacemacs`
