Overlay Timestamp Problem

hello, i just try this tool and got good result. but the problem is on timestamp overlay.
i record in may 02 and move the video to computer on june 01. and the timestamp overlay shown june 01 where i move the video to computer, not shown date creation.
any help to change timestamp value from xml layout?
-- thanks.
Hi thanks for reporting. This is very confusing as the timestamps come from the data in the video, not from any filesysyem metadata. Maybe a couple of questions...Are you using a built-in layout? Do you know your system timezone? What is the date of the recording, and what is the date that is printed on the overlay (the exact numbers)
If we cant get to the bottom of the problem, are you able to share the recording? I understand completely if this is not possible, but it can really help diagnose some issues. If so please send a link to gopro-overlay (at) time4tea (dot.) net.
- yes i use built-in layout
- my pc is setup to auto timezone and marked to makassar, asia/indonesia (from pool.ntp.org)
- 03 may 2022 i record the video, and print result is 02 june 2022 (this time where i access the video on pc).
and, sometime, the time (watch) printed correctly, but sometime, its print current time where i run gopro-dashboard.
this is some pic
video properties from sdcard before moved to pc.
video data from ffprobe running on sdcard before moved to pc.
this is the timestamp result. i use built in layout.
video properties after moved to pc.
and for more info, i use gopro hero 6 and 7 black with last firmware. i will send video sample later.

I've done a bit of a visual code review, and I am mystified how this could happen! - I do know that the clock drift in the GoPro can be quite severe - the MPEG Metadata date (which is the unit real-time-clock date) can be very different from the GPS date (accurate) - but I don't see that this is very relevant here. If you are able to share the video, that would really help - email is above - but i do understand if this isn't possible.
Was this problem reproducible? I don't really know how to proceed at the moment.
Sorry for the loss of information because I'm working on a project 🙏. I had a little time to analyze the video metadata and study the existing documentation, it turned out that the error was mine. i use quick capture button to record so gps is not fully ready. now everything is working fine after i start recording when the gps logo flashes bright.
Super - no worries. Thanks for letting me know! - If you have any nice screenshots of how you use the software - please do consider sharing them on gitter : https://gitter.im/gopro-dashboard-overlay/community
