This project is meant to help me learn how to use Golang + MySql + Kubernetes by building a simple REST API. I plan to document my journey here to help me stay consistent and for accountability sake.
DAY 1:
Learnt how to set up a server, how to use different packages to serve different functions e.g mux, mysqldriver. Also learnt how to create mysql connection, how to query from the DB using go's mysql driver.
DAY 2:
Learnt how to write a method to add a book instance to the DB.
