Kaboom! is a web application that generates movie recommendations for users.
With so many movies, TV shows and animes on demand, it can be hard to choose something to watch. Unlike doing a generic google search for "movies similar to ......", Kaboom! utilizes BeautifulSoup4 to scrape Rotten Tomatoes, IMDB, and MyAnimeList to generate good recommendations based on genres and ratings. The user interface is developed through a webserver, built with React.js and Flask.
