🎵automatically adding songs from a youtube playlist to your liked songs in spotify

how it was made

Using python, the spotify api and the youtube data api.

how to run it

  1. must get auth token from the spotify api
  2. get credentials and download client_secret.json file from the youtube api (make sure to select desktop app)
  3. git clone this repository
  4. pip3 install -r requirements.txt
  5. python3 run.py and follow the link to get authorized by youtube
  6. you will be prompted to select a playlist from youtube and from there it will grab the songs and transfer them to spotify!
