The |:Simpletest| command first loads test files matching test/NAME.vim or
test/NAME/.vim and it then runs all test function matching
NAME#(...#)*Test_.*. These test functions are supposed to be embedded in the
autoload vimscript files. They should use VIM's own assert-functions like
|assert_equal()| -- see also |v:errors|.
Install~
Either use the zip archive:
- Download the zip archive
- Extract it to
~/.vim/pack/tml/start/simpletest_vim
or install from github:
- Start a terminal
- Change the working directory to
~/.vim/pack/tml/start/ - Type:
git clone https://github.com/tomtom/simpletest_vim
or use a VIM plugin manager like vim-plug, vundle, dein.vim, VAM etc.
NOTE: On Windows, ~/.vim might be ~/vimfiles. Please see 'runtimepath' for details.
