Gallery not updating on filter

This is a duplicate of a few other issues, but I figured I'd open a new one to hopefully get some attention.

Selecting tag filters on the first right tab updates the text under the image gallery, but the gallery doesn't update.

I've done a little investigation already. It looks like b8730ad introduced this bug. There must be a mistake in the addition of replace_new_line. I'm guessing it needs to be added in another spot or 2, but I couldn't figure out where. I'm hoping the maintainer might have a better idea.
